Her gaze chanced upon a couple of algae that were building their own little marsh between the stones – and she had to laugh. It was not an amused or a triumphant laugh, rather it was the laugh of somebody who was gleeful about how things she had set in motion were developing. And she had developed very well since the day she had managed to convince Koslow's daughter Tatjana to beam some algae from Sweden into Santa Lemusa – just for fun, with the aid of her father's machines, who were actually meant to, one day, change the course of cyclones that were wont to lash Santa Lemusa.
