Wishes must not necessarily be fulfilled – desires and yearnings need no echo. They portray formulations with which we seek a place in the world, provide a direction in life. It is quite otherwise when it comes to hunger. Hunger must urgently find an answer. And, when the harvest that we can experience today fails to nourish us, then we perforce clutch on to the seeds that we have bred for the world of tomorrow.
